Hi Bernie - thanks for the compliment. If you've done 6 renovations of historic homes, I'm sure you know more than most people....nothing like hands on experience!

Mediterranean Revival architecture is all about the finishes - pay attention to stucco work and windows (to me windows can make or break a project) - casements with vertical proportions (take a look at the articles I have under historic homes)

I have articles on historic roof tiles, flooring, windows, paint, etc. Good Luck with your project, looks like a gorgeous home!

Aloha

Did a search on 1928 Mediterranean homes and came across your most informative site. Thanks for all of the data and it will of course be put to use. I am purchasing such a home in Tulsa, Oklahoma:

This will be my sixth historic renovation, but my first Mediterranean. If you have any thoughts after seeing the house, I would so appreciate your comments.

Thanks so much for your time and in hopes of hearing from you.
