A-Rod sells his Miami Beach Home

We told you back in August of 2012 that A-Rod had listed his Miami Beach home for $38 Million and now we have word that he sold it for $30 Millionto a supposed Palm Beach Resident.

A-rod selling miami beach home

I'm sure his neighbors will be happy since they were complaining about all the parties at A-Rod's crib.  Take a look at the construction photos we took while the house was being built - a true modern masterpiece!

A-Rod

Before the North Bay Road home was pulled off the market in January, it was listed for $38 Million with 9 bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, 2 half-baths and almost 20,000 sf of living space.  And did we mention the 275 feet of open bay water frontage?  This Miami Beach celebrity home is nothing short of spectacular and almost makes Chris Bosh’s home look like in-law quarters.  And although Anna Kournikova’s home was short of a tennis court, Alex’s crib even has a batting cage.  The selling description reads as follows:

Uninterrupted, panoramic views of the water and the Miami Skyline fill this extraordinary new Modern Masterpiece sitting on over an acre of lush grounds on prestigious N Bay Road in Miami Beach. Completely gated and walled in featuring 275 ft. of water frontage and 2 docks. Over 20,000 sq.ft. of chic and elegant spaces completely surrounded by 12? walls of impact glass. Finely detailed with extensive use of Coral Rock, White Oak floors, Ipe wood, Marble and exquisitely decorated by renowned Edward Briggs design. Zen like outdoor/indoor living spaces, Gourmet open kitchen, spectacular Home Theater, covered terraces, vanishing edge heated pool, outdoor kitchen area and Guest House. Amazing separate gym with steam room overlooking the bay. 2,200 sq.ft. Master Suite with atrium, sitting area, his and hers baths and oversized closets. Rooftop Deck and 3,000 sq.ft. sports room. Commercial sized elevator, Full home Generator, Creston lighting, 16 security cameras and surround sound system throughout.

House Porn at its best, that’s why we love Miami Beach.  Here are some photos:

Congrats Alex!! You made a killing!! But we don't want to see you go, so please tell me you have another Miami project in mind.

LOL Keith....I'm going to have to give you an eye exam or at least show you how to look at architecture....you crack me up. And no comment on A-Rod's baseball career. What I can say is that he did make a pretty penny on his real estate investment.
