Miami residential architecture is very diverse and happy to announce that luxury buyers not just want Mediterranean Revival homes or homes in the traditional design scheme.  Although those are still popular, I wanted to share with you the 5 most expensive modern homes for sale in Miami right now.

Casa Bahia - 3085 Munroe Dr - Miami

Here we have a well published Coconut Grove, 3-story home designed by filmmaker Alejandro Landes with local architect Jerry Gavcovich.  Amenities include 80-foot boat slip, wraparound balconies, open bay views, acre lot, private guest house.  Dezeen quotes Landes' concept for the house:

The home is listed for $50 Million - has 14,483 SF of living space with 7 bedrooms, 8.5 bathrooms and was built in 2015.  It's been on the market since September of 2015.

252 Bal Bay Dr - Bal Harbour

Chad Oppenheim designed modern oasis in Bal Harbour with open bay views and over 17,000 SF of living space.  It sits on almost 1/2 acre lot with 100 feet of water frontage.  The home has 8 bedrooms, 9.5 bathrooms and was built in 2015.

It's priced at $36 Million and has been on the market since January of 2015.

Bakara SESTO SENSO - 5004 N Bay Road - Miami Beach

Ultra luxury resort-style home located on prestigious upper North Bay Road owned by Chicken Kitchen founder, Christian de Berdouare.  It boasts over 17,000 SF of living space, rooftop swimming pool, open bay views, 2 kitchens, open atrium with vertical garden, private movie theater, wine room, private gym, and 6-car garage.  The home was designed by architect Zeb Jarosz who has also designed home for Dan Marino, Matt Damon and Michael Jordan.  Landscape architect is Raymond Jungles.

It's priced at $35.9 Million and has been on the market since December 2014 before the construction was finished.  It's also for rent for $120,000/month.

4555 Pine Tree Drive - Miami Beach

Designed by South African architecture firm SAOTA and conceived as a self-contained, multi-layered landscape of experiences which takes advantage of both Miami's tropical climate as well as views over the canal toward the Atlantic Ocean.  Located on prestigious Pine Tree Drive, surrounded by multi-million dollar estates.

Interiors designed in collaboration with Nils Sanderson, landscape architecture by Raymond Jungles and built by developer Barry Brodsky.

The home has 6 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms, 2 half-baths, 19,000 SF of living space, almost an acre of land, and 100 feet of water frontage.

It's priced at $34 Million and has been on the market since February of 2016.

30 Palm Av - Miami Beach

Palm Island modern estate decked out with latest smart home technology.  It has approximately 14,000 of living area and sits on 32,000 SF lot with 100' of water frontage.  The home has 8 bedrooms and 8.5 bathrooms, staff quarters, 4-car garage, movie theater, detached gym and social room.  It's a Kobi Karp designed home and built by Todd Michael Glaser.

It's priced at $32 Million, was built in 2014 and has been listed since June of 2016
